“Moni’s Pasta & Pizza – Our Family, Your Tradition”

At Moni’s Pasta & Pizza, we’re more than just a restaurant—we’re a family. Founded 28 years ago by Amy (“Mama”) and Moni Kaba, Moni’s has become a beloved Arlington tradition, serving Italian classics with a warm, welcoming touch. From handmade pasta and authentic Italian sandwiches to salads, chicken, veal, and fresh fish, Mama says, “I’ll cook you whatever you want,” because every dish is made with love.

Our journey began when Amy came to the United States from Albania as an exchange student in 1974. Embracing the American Dream, she and her husband built Moni’s from the ground up, making it a place where everyone feels at home. Over the years, Amy has proudly mentored hundreds of young workers, fondly calling each of them her own. “I raised about 400 children in this restaurant,” she shares, “and all of them call me ‘Mama.’”

Located at 1730 West Randol Mill Road, Moni’s has been more than a restaurant to us—it’s been a community, a family, and a life’s work. We’re grateful to be part of Arlington’s story and to have shared so many moments with generations of families and friends who have dined with us.

Moni’s Pasta & Pizza is proud to serve you the flavors of Italy with the warmth of family. Thank you for making us part of your story.
